We manage hundreds of rental properties used for both vacation and annual residential living in and around the Tierra Verde area and our neighbor community Isla del Sol.
Isla Del Sol is an island community with approximately 3200 households comprised of 350 acres with manicured tropical gardens surrounded by the waters of Boca Ciega Bay. Located on the southernmost tip of St. Petersburg, the island boasts an 18-hole championship golf course and the Isla del Sol Yacht and Country Club.
Only 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport, 40 minutes from Busch Gardens, 2 hours from Disney Land and 5 minutes from one of the top ten beaches in the United States at Fort DeSoto Park. Activities abound on the tropical paradise of Tierra Verde. Golfing, tennis, boating fishing, parasailing, windsurfing, bicycling, jet-skiing, jogging, roller blading and relaxing on white sand beaches.
Our waterways are 150 to 350 feet wide and some 15 feet deep. Engineered so that the Gulf of Mexico's tidal actions help keep the waterways clean. We fish the local waters, spot dolphin and sometimes manatees, sail to the Gulf of Mexico in minutes, and play on the beaches of Fort DeSoto Park.
In 1980 Tierra Verde real estate was valued at $15 million. By 1991 values had soared to $304 million. In November 1996 the Pinellas County Property Appraiser's Office evaluated Tierra Verde property at $349 million, 1999 values were listed at $478 million and in 2003 values are listed at $632 million. There are now approximately 2,000 single-family and multi-family structures on Tierra Verde, as well as a number of commercial enterprises.
